Electric Vehicle Sales Report – July 2023
UK-based consultancy firm conducting significant analysis on electric vehicles Rho Motion, published the sales data for July. According to this data, total sales in July worldwide 1.4 million electric carsThese sales increased by 21% compared to the same period of the previous year.
While electric vehicle sales in the European Union (EU), European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and the UK fell by 8% on an annual basis in July, these sales increased by 31% in China.
Total electric vehicle sales for the January-July period increased by 21% compared to a year ago. 8.4 million unitsThe geographical distribution of these sales is as follows:
- Chinese: 5 million
- European Union, EFTA and United Kingdom: 1.7 million
- USA and Canada: 1 million
- Other Countries: 700 thousand
Additionally, 65% of global electric vehicle sales full electricfrom automobiles, 35% Plug-In hybridIt was observed that it consisted of automobiles.
