Statement on Counter-Terrorism Operations

In the latest statement made by the ministry, it was announced that a total of 7 PKK terrorists detected in the Hakurk region in northern Iraq were neutralized. At the same time, it was reported that 1 PKK/YPG terrorist was neutralized by security forces in the Olive Branch region in northern Syria.

• Northern Iraq – Hakurk Region:7 PKK terrorists were neutralized.
• Northern Syria – Olive Branch Region:1 PKK/YPG terrorist was neutralized.

The Ministry emphasized that such operations will continue with determination within the framework of the fight against terrorism and that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the security of the country.
