An Important Exhibition Opening from Talas Municipality
The meaningful exhibition, hosted by Talas Municipality and organized with the valuable contributions of the International Balkan Cooperative, opened its doors to visitors at Cumhuriyet Square. Speaking at the opening, Talas Mayor Mustafa YalcinHe emphasized that Israel has targeted and killed more than 50 thousand innocent people since October 7.
President Yalçın drew attention to the danger of this incident turning into a genocide and stated that more than 16 thousand children had lost their lives. Stating that many countries, except Turkey, had turned their backs on Gaza, Yalçın said that the world should not ignore this situation.
Emphasizing that the works in the exhibition were created by internationally recognized and competent painters, Yalçın added that they will do their best to ensure that the suffering in Gaza is never forgotten.
President of Balkan Cooperative Hamza YavuzHe relayed the situation in Gaza, stating that schools and homes were being bombed every day and that many people were losing their lives. Yavuz stated that a total of 183 works by painters from 14 countries, including Bosnia-Herzegovina, Norway and Turkey, were exhibited in the exhibition.
