Russian President Vladimir Putin made important statements about the current situation in the Kursk region at a meeting with government members. Stating that he will meet with officials from the Russian Ministry of Defense, Law Enforcement, General Staff and the Federal Security Service (FSB) at the meeting, Putin said that he will receive comprehensive information from the authorities about the situation in the region. He also said that he met with the Deputy Governor of the Kursk Region Alexei Smirnov and gave instructions to provide the necessary support to civilians in this process. Putin emphasized the importance of the Russian government taking the necessary steps in this regard.
