Transfer Movement in Besiktas
Beşiktaş, which is rapidly continuing its preparations for the new season, is gaining momentum in transfer operations. Technical director Giovanni van Bronckhorst requested reinforcements on the right wing during his meetings with the management. In this context, Cengiz Ünder’s name came up as a surprise development for Beşiktaş.
Cengiz Under’s manager met with Beşiktaş Vice President Hüseyin Yücel and made an offer saying, “Cengiz wants to stay in Turkey and is open to playing for Beşiktaş.” Hüseyin Yücel stated that he would forward this issue to the board of directors and said, “If the coach and President Hasan Arat approve, we can contact the Fenerbahçe managers.”
Cengiz Under, who was added to Fenerbahçe’s squad last season for a transfer fee of 15 million Euros, played 1357 minutes in 33 matches for the yellow-navy team, contributing 9 goals and 3 assists. The player’s current market value is determined as 14 million Euros.
On the other hand, it is stated that Cengiz Under, who turned down the offer from Qatar, is thinking of making a comeback in Beşiktaş. This situation has created great excitement among Beşiktaş fans.
