At least 5 Palestinians were killed when the Israeli army targeted a vehicle in the northern Gaza city of the Gaza Strip. Officials at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital announced that in addition to the 5 people who died as a result of the attack, many wounded people were brought to the hospital.
The Civil Defense Organization in Gaza said the attack took place in an area close to the entrance to the Megazi Refugee Camp in Gaza. In addition to the deaths, many people were reported injured.
While the identities of those in the targeted vehicle have not yet been released, there is great anxiety in the region following the attack.
In the ongoing attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023, a total of 39,445 Palestinians, including at least 16,172 children and 10,798 women, have lost their lives, and 91,073 people have been injured. While it is reported that there are still thousands of dead under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is also being targeted in the attacks, and public shelters and health institutions are being destroyed.
