West Nile Virus cases are seen in Israel every year between June and September, but it is stated that the cases started earlier than usual this year due to climate change.

West Nile Virus, spread by mosquitoes, was first detected in the West Nile region of Uganda in 1937 and is known to be a potentially fatal disease.

It is important to be careful against this virus, which is especially risky for the elderly and those with weak immune systems.
