Rishk made a statement on his Telegram page regarding the Israeli Prime Ministry’s Office’s claim that Hamas prevented the agreement in Gaza. Rishk said, “The one who postponed the agreement, escaped and created obstacles to the agreement is Netanyahu himself,” and indicated that the Hamas Movement displayed a positive and flexible attitude. He stated that the mediators knew that Hamas paved the way for the agreement.
Rishk said that Hamas had overcome Israel’s obstacles to reach an agreement, and added that the ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation army from Gaza and the prisoner exchange were welcomed, but Netanyahu did not accept them.
Rishk stated that Netanyahu’s statements that he accepted the offer that Hamas made amendments to were false, and stressed that Israel had made additional conditions and demands. He explained that Netanyahu did not respond to the offers made by the mediators and displayed the same attitude in the recent Rome talks.
According to the news published by the Israel Wala news site two days ago, it was stated that Israel’s new offer to the US included new demands regarding the establishment of an observer mechanism that would prevent the transfer of weapons from the south to the north of Gaza .
