Held captive by the occupying Israeli forces for 7 months, 21-year-old Palestinian Fethi Abdulal suffers from serious psychological problems as a result of the torture he was subjected to. Abdulal was studying electrical engineering and was brought to his relatives in Deir Balakh, Gaza, after his release.
Abdulal was tortured during his detention and had scars on his hands, face and legs. As a result of this traumatic experience, Abdulal became aggressive and had difficulty communicating.
