The number of people who have lost their lives in the Israeli army’s attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 continues to rise. In the last 24 hours, 39 more people lost their lives, bringing the total death to 39,363. According to the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza, 93 people have been injured in Israel’s attacks, which have continued for 297 days.
The statement also shared information that bodies were found under the rubble and on the side of the road, but that medical teams and civil defense officials were unable to reach the bodies due to Israeli obstacles.
Israeli Army Explodes Water Tank
According to a report in the Haaretz newspaper, the Israeli army admitted that soldiers serving in the southern Gaza Strip violated international law by blowing up a water tank in the city of Rafah. It was reported that units from the army’s 401st Armored Brigade blew up the water tank in Rafah.
It was also reported in the news that Israeli soldiers did not receive approval from their superiors to explode the city’s water tank and that the incident was shared on social media. It was reported that procedures would be initiated according to the results of the investigation. It was noted that the water tank was located in an area declared as a “safe zone” by the Israeli army.
