Magdala Shams Attack
A rocket attack on the town of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights killed 12 people and injured 35. The Israeli army said the rocket was fired from Lebanon and attributed responsibility to Lebanese Hezbollah. However, Hezbollah denied the investigation.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that they will respond harshly to the attack. He said that Hezbollah will pay a heavy price.
The Missile Was Allegedly Fired From the “Iron Dome”
It has been claimed that the rocket hit the Magdal Shams immediately after the attack warning sirens were sounded and that the missile was fired from the Iron Dome air defense system of the Israeli army. Local residents and some sources supported this claim.
