Dutch MEP Tineke Strik from the Greens group sent a letter to EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, signed by 20 of her colleagues from her own group as well as socialist and liberal groups.
“The landmark ICJ rulings on Israel’s illegal annexation of the occupied Palestinian territories must mean a fundamental change in EU policy. Together with our 20 colleagues, we call on von der Leyen and Josep Borrell to ensure that the EU complies with international law,” Strik said.
