Hamas Political Bureau Member Izzat al-Rishk made an official statement saying that accounts affiliated with Israel had published a fake video containing death threats against the occupiers who were going to participate in the Olympic Games. Rishk stressed that such manipulations were part of Israel’s efforts to weaken the Palestinian resistance.
Rishk also condemned the inhumane attacks in the Gaza Strip, stating that Israel should be boycotted in all areas and that the international community should take a more active role in this regard.
Recalling the fake video circulating on social media, Rishk said that such manipulations are produced with the aim of harming the Palestinian resistance and that attempts are being made to distort the facts. Rishk stated that international calls for support should continue to protect the rights of the Palestinian people and ensure justice.
Israeli Attacks and Palestinian Casualties
At least 39,090 Palestinians have lost their lives as a result of Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, including 16,172 children and 10,798 women. In addition, 90,147 people were injured in the attacks.
Civilian infrastructure such as hospitals and educational institutions were also targeted during the attacks, trapping thousands of people under the rubble, causing great concern and outrage in the international community.
