Nicolas Maduro: “We Need Peace for the Future of Venezuela”
Grand Patriotic Pole (Gran Polo Patriotico) candidate Nicolas Maduro addressed the public at a rally in Porlamar, Nueva Esparta. Maduro stated that far-right extremists in his country were trying to cast a shadow over the elections to be held on Sunday, July 27, and asked the public not to be provoked.

Maduro stressed that security forces are on alert against acts of violence and possible attacks on power plants. “Any action taken to harm the people would be a big mistake for the future of Venezuela. We must focus on peace and economic development as a country.”said.
“We Will Strengthen Social Services with Housing Construction”
Maduro announced that they will build at least 3 million new houses for those in need within 6 months and that 400,000 of these houses will be completed by 2025. He stated that this step will strengthen the people’s access to social services.
“Our Struggle Against Oligarchy Is Determined”
Maduro, who claims that the Venezuelan oligarchy wants to hand over the country’s oil resources to foreign powers, “We will win a great victory in the elections on July 28 and we will take a determined stand against the racist oligarchy in Caracas. We will demand accountability for the sanctions, the blockade and the economic war.”He spoke as follows.
The people of Venezuela will go to the polls on July 28 to elect a new president. President Nicolas Maduro and opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez will compete in the elections.
