Accident Details:
The accident that occurred on the Beykoz Northern Marmara Highway Ankara direction at 22:15 last night caused a saddening event. The accident started with the tire of the truck with the license plate 34 GAE 786 driven by Ramazan Akgül bursting. Akgül pulled over to the emergency lane to check the tire.
During the tire check, the excavation truck with the license plate 41 ATB 443, driven by Cem Erdoğan, crashed into the back of the TIR. As a result of this collision, Akgül was trapped between the TIR and the excavation truck and was seriously injured.
Gendarmerie, fire department and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that Akgül had unfortunately lost his life. Gendarmerie teams have launched a detailed investigation into the accident.
The lifeless body of Ramazan Akgül, who lost his life in the accident, was taken to the morgue after the examinations at the scene. While the gendarmerie teams continue to take security measures, detailed investigations are ongoing into the cause of the accident.
