Dr. Muhammed Furkan Daşdelen, who won a place at Medipol University International Faculty of Medicine by ranking first in Turkey in the LYS (Undergraduate Placement Exam) in 2017, continues to inspire young people.
Dr. Daşdelen, who graduated from medical school with a double major in computer engineering, has carried out important studies on the use of artificial intelligence in medicine. Dr. Daşdelen’s success, which aims to ease the heavy patient load of his colleagues, sets a great example for young people.
“My goal is to work in fields where I can use both medicine and engineering”
Dr. Daşdelen stated that he aims to continue his education in Germany and work in areas where he can combine the fields of medicine and engineering. Gaining experience by doing internships in different countries around the world, Dr. Daşdelen worked on artificial intelligence and image processing in medicine.
“Research the opportunities of universities”
Referring to the difficulties of receiving education in both medical and engineering fields, Dr. Daşdelen advised students to visit universities, conduct research and examine their professors. Emphasizing that he was very pleased with the opportunities offered by Medipol University during his own education process, Dr. Daşdelen drew attention to the importance of creating an international network for young people.
