Varaka Paper, operating in Balıkesir, produces in a 110 thousand square meter closed area on an area of ​​1,265 thousand square meters. The factory, which has an annual paper production capacity of 250 thousand tons in this special industrial zone, makes a significant contribution to Turkey’s recycling processes. Varaka Paper is taking firm steps towards its growth targets with an investment of 300 million Euros.

Varaka Paper has broken new ground in its sector by closely following technological developments. The company, which has purchased the Valmet Bale Tester device, a first in Turkey, and integrated it into its factory, can perform detailed analyzes by taking samples from recycled paper bales. In this way, Varaka Paper can perform moisture, plastic, ash and lignin analyzes without human factors, and has increased efficiency and minimized the risk of error with this technological investment.

The factory produces 250 thousand tons of packaging paper per year and supplies its own energy with its own resources. By using the cogeneration facility to meet its steam and electrical energy needs, Varaka Paper demonstrates its commitment to the principle of sustainability.
