According to the news of The Times of Israel, one of Israel’s leading newspapers, Prime Minister Netanyahu made a statement before his visit to Washington, making assessments regarding US President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race. Netanyahu praised Biden’s support for Israel and emphasized the importance of their support in the attacks on the Gaza Strip that have been ongoing since October 7.

Netanyahu said he hopes to see Biden during the visit, adding that “his visit will be an opportunity to thank Biden for all he has done for Israel throughout his long and distinguished career.” Stating that developments since the October 7 attacks will be discussed during his visit to Washington, Netanyahu said he will discuss with Biden the release of hostages, the defeat of Hamas, the fight against Iran’s axis of terror, and the safe return of Israeli citizens to their homes.

Netanyahu stressed that “the United States will remain an indispensable and strong ally in the Middle East” during his meetings with United States officials and members of Congress, and stressed the importance of the two countries acting together. He also stated that the United States and Israel are “together today, tomorrow and always.”
