İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu won the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) presidential election, leaving Mehmet Büyükekşi behind with only 5 votes, and became the new president of the TFF.
While the new management and policies in the federation are eagerly awaited, it is stated that Hacıosmanoğlu’s first action will be to intervene in the number of foreign football players.
According to the news in Sabah newspaper, the number of foreign football players, which was reduced to 12 by the previous administration, will be increased to 14 again.
It is stated that Hacıosmanoğlu will put the change in the foreign football player quota to a vote at the first board meeting.
In addition, it is stated that a change in instructions will be made regarding the statement made by Hacıosmanoğlu in the management, “We will ban the referral of club presidents to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK)”.
