CrowdStrike Security Statement

CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz has addressed a content update issue affecting Windows hosts. Kurtz noted that the company is actively working with affected customers.

Some of Kurtz’s statements are as follows:

“CrowdStrike is actively working with customers affected by a flaw found in a single content update for Windows hosts. Mac and Linux hosts are not affected. This is not a security incident or cyberattack. The issue has been identified, isolated, and a fix has been issued.”

Customers are directed to the support portal for the latest updates and CrowdStrike will provide updates on an ongoing basis. Customers are also advised to contact CrowdStrike representatives through official channels.
