According to the Spanish EFE news agency, the National Meteorological Institute (AEMET) has issued a warning due to the extreme heat that is affecting the country. According to the information, the cities of Cordoba and Jaen in the Andalusia region are expected to see temperatures exceed 40 degrees and these regions have been issued an “orange alert”.
In the city of Seville, a “yellow alert” situation has been declared as temperatures will range between 38 and 39 degrees. In the Castilla La Mancha region in the interior of the country, temperatures are expected to be between 36 and 38 degrees and the “yellow alert” continues for this region.
Additionally, residents of the above regions were warned to be careful of extreme heat.
