Trump became the Republican Party’s presidential candidate with the support of 2,387 delegates in the vote held at the Congress. The former President made history as the person who represented the Republicans in the last 3 elections. Some of the people who opposed Trump also announced their support.

Trump’s vice presidential candidate was Republican Ohio Senator James David Vance. Trump announced his choice by promoting Vance’s successful career. Vance was a Trump supporter and had the support of the Jewish lobby.
Investigation Continues
The FBI is trying to access the information on the phone of the assassin who carried out the assassination attempt. However, there is no clear information yet on the attacker’s motivation. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle announced that she will not resign and responded to claims that the attacker was previously classified as a suspect.
