Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu shared an important post on his social media account regarding the firing process of Turkey’s first domestic and national satellite, Türksat 6A. Stating that the firings planned for Türksat 6A’s orbital journey are continuing, Uraloğlu said, “The 4th firing, which started at 21:50 and lasted 38 minutes, was successfully completed. Thus, we slowed down the rotation speed of our satellite.”
Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that the successful completion of the firing process is an important step for Türksat 6A to reach the targeted orbit, and stated that Turkey’s progress in space technologies will be further strengthened with such achievements.
