The Moroccan people, upon the call of the Support Committee for the Problems of the Ummah in Morocco, gathered in the cities of Miknas, Fez, Marrakesh, Al-Yusufiyah, Azru and Vicde to protest Israel’s attack on Al-Mawasi. Thousands of Moroccans condemned the attack in which 90 people lost their lives and 300 were injured.
The protesters carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans such as “Stop the massacres”, “Stop the attack on Gaza”, “Gaza, the symbol of dignity”, and “No to normalization”. They also protested Western countries that continue to supply weapons to Tel Aviv and support the attacks on Gaza.
Morocco has an important place among the Islamic countries where demonstrations and marches in support of Gaza are most intense.
