The match between Juventude and Internacional in the Brazilian Cup was the scene of unforgettable moments. A fan from the away stands jumped onto the pitch and tried to attack International player Enner Valencia, who missed a penalty, which changed the course of the match.
The fan who wanted to attack Valencia tried to stop the Juventude players. Juventude’s player Alan Ruschel made a move to protect Valencia and was shown a red card by the referee.
The game had to be retaken with a penalty kick. Valencia scored this time, levelling the score at 1-1. When the match ended, Juventude advanced to the 4th round of the Brazilian Cup, having won the first leg 2-1.
