The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry personnel, who spend time on both civil service and agricultural activities, brought their requests to benefit from the supports to the agenda. The issue was discussed at the Institution Administrative Board meeting held between Toç-Bir Sen and the ministry.
Legal Status:There is no legal impediment for civil servants to participate in agricultural activities. However, recent circulars state that civil servants cannot benefit from certain supports.
Demand and Progress:Toç-Bir You requested that the ministry personnel evaluate their potential in agricultural production and benefit from the supports. Since a change in legislation is required in this regard, the request was referred to the Public Personnel Advisory Board. The decision process will depend on the decision of the Board.
