In a written statement made by the media office, it was stated that the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital and General Services Hospital, which were previously out of service as a result of the attacks of the occupying Israel, have started accepting patients again. The statement emphasized that the occupying Israel targeted the health sector, destroyed the hospitals and rendered medical facilities unusable.
“We commend the great and extraordinary efforts of the medical teams who have been working day and night since the beginning of the genocidal war to serve the Palestinian people,” the statement said.
In the attacks launched by the occupying Israel on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 38,345 Palestinians, including at least 15,694 children and 10,279 women, have been martyred and 88,295 people have been injured. While it is reported that there are still thousands of people under the rubble, civilian infrastructure is also being seriously damaged by the targeting of hospitals and educational institutions where people take refuge.
