The Palestinian Prisoners’ Association and the Prisoners and Releasees Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization issued a joint statement, stating that Israeli soldiers continue their raids in the occupied West Bank.
The Israeli army has detained at least 16 Palestinians in raids in the cities of Ramallah, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, Nablus, Hebron and Jericho in the past 24 hours. It was reported that among those detained were children and former detainees.
The number of Palestinians detained in the West Bank since October 7 has reached 9,600.
Following Israel’s attack on Gaza on October 7, 2023, detentions, raids and attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have been increasing.
It has been stated that 571 Palestinians have lost their lives in attacks by Israeli soldiers and Israelis in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since October 7, 2023.
