They were proud of their final exam success
The recently held “My Choice Will Come” event hosted distinguished guests. ÖNDER Imam Hatip Association President Abdullah Ceylan, Ministry of National Education Religious Education General Directorate Learning Processes and Social Activities Department Head İhsan Erkul, along with 27 Imam Hatip students who came first in Turkey and their parents attended this special event. Abdullah Ceylan stated that the young people were reaping the fruits of their disciplined work and congratulated them on their success.
Önder Imam Hatip Association President Ceylan emphasized the superior performance of imam hatip schools and said, “We are raising young people who are ranked first in many provinces of Anatolia in the LGS and YKS exams. Our students who are ranked in the top 100 and top 1000 in the YKS are qualified young people who will shape the future of our country.”
Students Shared Their Experiences
Following the speeches at the event, students shared their exam experiences with each other. The young people who visited the stands of the 6 imam hatip high schools with the highest scores were informed. Nigde Muhsin Yazicioglu Imam Hatip Middle School graduate Hamza Kaya emphasized the importance of regular study during the exam process and said, “I studied little but effectively. I learned from my mistakes and improved myself. My education at school and my own efforts played a big role. role in my success.”
Kaya also mentioned his interest in sports and stated that he aimed to play for Galatasaray in high school and Boğaziçi University in university.
Zeynep Cihan from Rize Şehit Erhan Dural Girls Imam Hatip Secondary School stated that she prepared for the exam with the support of her family and teachers. Cihan, who touched on the importance of systematic study, said, “I initially aimed for 500 points, but I did not expect the result to be this high. Being the first student of my school to receive full points made me very happy.”
Cihan said he wants to study aerospace engineering in the future, but added that his school choice is not yet determined.
