The march, organized in collaboration with the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and the Free Aksa Trabzon Platform, takes place on Wednesdays after the afternoon prayer. This week’s march began in front of the İskenderpaşa Mosque in the Ortahisar district. The group carrying Turkish and Palestinian flags marched to the Ziraat Bank on Kahramanmaraş Street, chanting slogans.
Making a statement on behalf of the group during the march, Kadir Bekar emphasized that the people of Gaza resisted death without giving up their homeland and said, “We want to remind the truth that honorable mothers and fathers paid the price for their homeland. Greetings to those with a conscience who did not remain silent against oppression. Our purpose of gathering here today is to oppose the oppression in Gaza, which wounds the conscience of humanity and deeply affects us all, to make our voices heard and to take action.”
After the march, the group dispersed after praying.
