Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kayseri Provincial Directorate Condemned the Harassment Incident
The CHP Kayseri Provincial Directorate made a statement condemning the sexual harassment incident that took place in Kayseri yesterday evening. The incident, in which a Syrian citizen molested a 5-year-old girl, caused great outrage.
The statement included the following statements:
“Today, we are deeply saddened by this painful incident that occurred in our province and deeply wounded our society. The harassment of a 5-6 year old girl, a Syrian refugee, has deeply wounded every conscientious individual and caused justified anger. Such incidents are unacceptable and unforgivable for the peace of our society. We condemn and curse this grave incident.
We would like to convey our well wishes to all citizens affected by this incident, especially our victim child and his family, and hereby state that we stand by them. We call on the authorities to clarify all aspects of the incident and ensure that justice prevails. We demand that legal processes be carried out meticulously so that the criminals are punished in the most severe manner.
Once again, we condemn this heinous incident and hope that justice will be served as soon as possible. As the Kayseri Provincial Directorate of the Republican People’s Party, we respectfully announce to the public that we will fulfill our responsibilities to ensure the peace and security of our society.”
