In the tragic incident that took place in the Seine-et-Marne region east of Paris, the capital of France, a small plane crashed on the A4 highway, killing 3 people. A large number of crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident and the highway was closed to traffic in both directions.
It was reported that the plane took off from Lognes Airport and that the 3 people on board lost their lives as a result of the accident. Authorities announced that the plane crashed after hitting a high voltage power line and that no other vehicles were affected in the accident.
The Meaux Public Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation to determine the causes of the accident. The air transport gendarmerie is conducting a judicial investigation, while the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Bureau is conducting an administrative investigation.
