The traditional Hacet Bayramı celebrations were held with great enthusiasm in the Beypazarı district of Ankara. Deputy Provincial Mufti Mahmut Rauf Arcaklıoğlu, TBMM Human Resources Deputy Chairman İsmail Sert, Beypazarı Mayor Özer Kasap, representatives of various institutions and citizens attended the program held in the Çayırlık area of Dagşeyhler Neighborhood.
Within the scope of the program, religious officials read a Mawlid before the midday prayer and prayed for our martyrs. Deputy Provincial Mufti Mahmut Rauf Arcaklıoğlu emphasized in his speech that the Hacet Holiday is a symbol of unity, abundance and mercy.
After the speeches, the participants were served rice pilaf with meat, ayran and dessert. This special day, the Hacet Holiday, celebrated in May and June in various regions of Anatolia to wish for a rainy and fruitful year, is realized with the support of philanthropists. On these special days, where traditional rituals are performed, prayers and wishes for abundance and peace are prioritized.
