Preparing for the European Cup in Kocaeli, the Young Men’s Judo National Team aims to show a successful performance and return with medals from the European and world championships to be held in September-October. The team continues to work hard for the Youth European Cup, which will be held in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

The national athletes continue their training at the Seka Sports Training Center under the supervision of Technical Director Bektaş Demirel, Coach Serkan Esenboğa and Coordinator Galip Şentürk. Coach Esenboğa stated that the team is focused on their goals and has successfully dealt with injuries.
Work Continues for the 2028 Olympics
18-year-old national athlete Hilmi Mucık emphasized that they are preparing in the best way for the European and world championships and are working devotedly for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Mucık stated that their goal is to be champions in the Olympics.
Coach Esenboğa’s Evaluation
Coach Serkan Esenboğa stated that the athletes are working day and night and are moving forward with determination to achieve their goals, and drew attention to the team’s medal expectations. Esenboğa said that he sees the potential of young athletes as high and believes that they will successfully represent Turkey in the 2028 Olympics.
