Özer Matlı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bursa Commodity Exchange (Bursa TB), proudly congratulated the member companies of Bursa Commodity Exchange, which are among Turkey’s 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises. Matlı stated that despite the difficult conditions of 2023, companies that stand out with their production, exports and added value creation have made significant contributions to the Turkish economy.
According to the 2023 “Turkey’s 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises” research published by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), Turkish Petroleum Refineries Inc. (TÜPRAŞ) was at the top of the list with sales from production of 484 billion liras. TÜPRAŞ; Ford Automotive follows in second place with 238 billion lira, while Star Refinery ranks third with sales from production of approximately 227 billion lira.
There are 10 companies that are members of Bursa Commodity Exchange in the ISO 500 list. Özer Matlı stated that it is an honor for these companies to be included in the list of Turkey’s industrial giants. He stated that the fact that 10 of the 24 companies in Bursa are members of Bursa Commodity Exchange reflects the strength and diversity of Bursa’s economy.
