On June 30, a new satellite named Zhongxing-3A was launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Site off the coast of China’s Hainan island. The satellite’s launch took place at 19:57 in the evening Beijing time. It was stated that the satellite successfully entered the planned orbit.
It was stated that the satellite was designed to provide communication and broadcast services. The satellite will provide services such as voice, data, radio and television transmission.
