The award ceremony of the 98th Gazi Race was held with enthusiasm. The race in which 22 thoroughbred English horses competed at the Veliefendi Hippodrome was won by the thoroughbred named Dragon Flame with a time of 2:28:36 with the successful performance of jockey Akın Sözen.
Awards Ceremony Details
- Emrah Agun, the owner of the thoroughbred named Dragon Flame, received his trophy from Ebubekir Gizligider, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and Chairman of the Board of High Commissioners.
- Jockey Akın Sözen’s plaque was presented by the 1st Army and Istanbul Garrison Commander General Ali Sivri and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
