109th Anniversary of the Anafartalar Victory
Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmus, emphasized that the Anafartalar Victory is one of the unforgettable victories of history, together with the epic struggle in Çanakkale. Kurtulmuş shared a message on his social media account on the 109th anniversary of the Anafartalar Victory. He included the following statements in his message:
“The Anafartalar Victory, one of the turning points in our nation’s struggle for independence, has become one of the unforgettable victories of our history with the epic struggle our ancestors gave in Çanakkale. Our heroes who entrusted our homeland to us by walking to martyrdom for their beliefs and values in Anafartalar, not only changed the course of history but also left the spirit of resistance as a legacy to future generations.
