On the Göltürkbükü road in Muğla’s Bodrum district, the main water transmission line belonging to DSI exploded like a bomb, and tons of drinking water flowed onto the road. The road collapsed due to the deep fissure caused by the explosion, and the residents of the region were astonished.
After the explosion that occurred at night, the hole that formed when the road collapsed surprised everyone. MUSKI teams affiliated with Muğla Metropolitan Municipality quickly intervened and stopped the flow of water. Gendarmerie teams took security measures in the area and prevented a possible disaster.
While there was flooding in some gardens and sheds, it was stated that MUSKI teams worked quickly to eliminate the problem. It was announced that the work will continue after the repairs are completed to restore water to Türkbükü.
