Ramazan Raşit, 44, working in a shipping company, was involved in a painful incident in Bursa while transporting a tanker full of fuel from Izmir to Hatay. Raşit, who took a break at a rest facility in Nilüfer district, died of a heart attack there.
After the incident was noticed, the vehicle of the driver, who was not heard from for 2 days, was checked by gendarmerie teams. The lifeless body of the unfortunate driver was found in the vehicle and the prosecutor’s office launched an investigation. Rashid’s body was taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute.
While this sad event caused deep sadness in the industry, condolences for Rashid were shared by shipping company officials and colleagues.
