Evening Explosion in Kabul
The explosion, which occurred in the Dar-ul Aman district of Kabul in the evening, caused great panic in the city. Kabul Police Department Spokesperson Khalid Zadran stated in his statement to the press that at least 6 people lost their lives and 13 people were injured in this painful incident.
Stating that the incident was a suicide attack, Zadran said that the injured were transferred to the nearest hospitals and a comprehensive investigation was launched into the incident. Some media organizations claimed that the explosion took place while the personnel working in state institutions were leaving work and the death toll reached 12.
While no group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far, the terrorist organization DAESH in Afghanistan draws attention with its attacks against security forces, civil servants and civilian groups, especially Shiite Hazaras. Such incidents, which are increasing across the country, continue to threaten public safety.
