Sacrificial Animal Purchasing Process Details
Sacrificial animals brought to the market by producers will be purchased according to the tariff determined by the Meat and Milk Institution (ESK). Animals that cannot be sold will be purchased by ESK as carcass meat at the convenience of the producers. Payments will be made within 3 business days at the latest.
Application and Payment Details
Producers who want to sell their animals to ESK should apply to the nearest ESK Combine Directorates between 20-28 June. Animal identification information, shipping report and marketplace documents are required for application. Payments will be made within 3 business days at the latest from the application.
Purchase Tariffs and Prices
Animals will be purchased as carcass meat in line with the Animal Procurement Criteria and Implementation Principles determined by the ESK. The prices of the animals to be purchased have been determined in line with the current purchase tariff of ESK.
