Gendarmerie Commander Aydın Samet Ekşi, who served in Kalkandere district of Rize, was arrested regarding the suspicious death of his wife. In the tragic incident that took place at the District Gendarmerie Command lodgings, Ekşi’s wife Aylin Ekşi lost her life as a result of gunshot.
Within the scope of the investigation launched after the incident, Gendarmerie First Lieutenant Aydın Samet Ekşi was detained and referred to judicial authorities. Following the procedures, Ekşi was arrested by the judgment to which he was brought.
