The Ministry of Treasury and Finance continues its fight against informality by carrying out inspections in sectors where economic activities are concentrated before Eid al-Adha. In this context, inspections were carried out across the country in sectors such as dessert shops, confectioners and ready-made garments between 11-15 June.
A total of 8 thousand 227 taxpayers were subject to inspection during the pre-holiday period. As a result of these audits, taxpayers whose unregistered revenue was detected were subject to detailed examination.
Audit Results
- 195 taxpayers:He applied the wrong VAT rate.
- 357 taxpayers:A lack of integration was found between the payment recorder device and sales software programs.
- 13 taxpayers:He used a POS device that did not belong to the business.
- 298 taxpayers:Collection was made via IBAN.
- 50 taxpayers:He is engaged in unregistered activities.
- 18 workers:It was operated unregistered.
Upon these situations detected as a result of the inspections, the relevant businesses were reported to the Social Security Institution and the necessary actions were taken.
