Osmangazi Municipality broadcast the match of the National Football Team, which played against the Czech Republic in the 2024 European Football Championship, to the citizens with the giant screens it installed in Bağlarbaşı and Demirtaş squares.
At the event held in Bağlarbaşı Square, Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın experienced the joy of victory together with the people of Osmangazi. Osmangazi people, who filled the squares with Turkish flags in their hands, shared the national excitement.
Thousands of people who wanted to watch the third match of the National Football Team in the Euro 2024 European Football Championship flocked to Bağlarbaşı and Demirtaş squares. Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın, CHP Osmangazi District Chairman Cengiz Çelikten and council members were among those who watched the match.
Osmangazi fans were happy with the goal scored by Hakan Çalhanoğlu, and their excitement reached its peak with Cenk Tosun’s winning goal. At the end of the match, President Aydın congratulated the National Football Team, which reached the last 16, and wished, “Let the final be the end of the road.”
