Detentions and Occupation Attacks Continue in Palestine
In a joint statement made by the Prisoners and Releasees Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Prisoners Association, it was emphasized that the occupying Israeli soldiers continue their raids in the occupied West Bank without slowing down. According to the statements, in the last 24 hours, the occupying Israeli army detained at least 20 Palestinians, including a young woman and a child, in different parts of the West Bank.
Palestinians Detained in the Last 6 Days
Palestinian authorities reported that the Israeli army’s “wide-scale” attacks on the occupied West Bank continued for the sixth day and that a total of 130 Palestinians have been detained so far. It was reported that at least 29 Palestinians were martyred and many were injured, some of whom are in critical condition, as a result of these attacks that began on August 28.
Increase in Detentions and Attacks
Since the Israeli offensive against the Gaza Strip on October 7, there has been a significant increase in the number of detentions, raids and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. It is stated that the number of Palestinians detained during this period has exceeded 10,400, and 681 people have been martyred in the attacks carried out by Israeli soldiers and Israelis who have usurped the occupied lands.
This situation leads to a deepening of the humanitarian crisis in the region and an increase in the human rights violations suffered by the Palestinian people.
