Niğde Municipality Technical Services Directorate teams have reached the completion stage of the 30-meter new road that will be opened as an alternative to Bor road. The details of this important project were shared by Mayor Emrah Özdemir.
The Only Road with Fully Built Infrastructure
Mayor Emrah Özdemir examined the works on site and stated that it will be the only road in the history of Niğde with a completely constructed infrastructure. He emphasized that the road will represent Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard between Niğde and Bor.
Features of 30-Meter Road
Stating that the New Bor road is 30 meters long, Mayor Özdemir announced that the road will be put into service soon and will be the second main road of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University.
- It is anticipated that the road will make a major contribution to Niğde’s traffic when completed.
- It is planned that space has been reserved for the tram on the road and that the tram line will use this route in the future.

President Özdemir emphasized that the projects carried out not only consider the present but also the future, and stated that steps were being taken for the future of the city.
