Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya announced that the “Narkoçelik-23” operations carried out in 47 provinces started before Eid al-Adha and continued throughout the holiday. Within the scope of the operations, studies were carried out against poison traffickers, drug manufacturers and street dealers.

According to the information provided by Minister Yerlikaya, a total of 445 poison dealers and street vendors were caught during the operations. In addition, 304.5 kilograms of narcotic substances and 96 thousand narcotic pills were seized.
