Minister Güler visited Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, upon the official invitation of Turkmenistan Minister of Defense Begenç Gündogdiyev. Minister Güler, who was received by Turkmenistan President Berdimuhamedov within the scope of the visit, also met with Turkmenistan’s National Leader Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov.
Minister Güler went to the Turkmenistan Ministry of Defense and was welcomed with a military ceremony organized by his counterpart Begenç Gündogdiyev. Minister Güler, who also visited the Turkmenistan Armed Forces Military Academy during his Ashgabat contacts, held important meetings to strengthen Turkmenistan-Turkey relations.
