Menteşe Municipality Accelerates Its Work for Environmental Cleaning
Menteşe Municipality is taking precautions against possible bad odors and environmental pollution problems that may occur with the increasing amount of garbage in the summer months. 4,065 garbage containers located throughout the district are regularly cleaned by Menteşe Municipality teams with a cleaning vehicle equipped with a special spraying and disinfection system.
Making a statement about this important work, Menteşe Mayor Gonca Köksal stated that they aim to protect the environment and public health and said, “As a municipality, we will continue our practices that will demonstrate our sensitivity to environmental cleanliness and public health. Regular cleaning and disinfection of garbage containers, prevention of environmental pollution, bad odor.” “It is of great importance in preventing the spread and eliminating germs,” he said.
Thanks to the cleaning works carried out by Menteşe Municipality with its washing and disinfection vehicle, visual pollution and health problems that may occur in the summer are minimized. Mayor Köksal stated that the teams will continue their cleaning and disinfection works, neighborhood by neighborhood, with great care throughout the summer.
